About Tracey Outlaw

I am an avid runner living in Cincinnati, Ohio.  My first marathon was over 10 years ago in London, England. I ran it through the Leukemia Society’s “Team in Training” group.  They provided the coaches, training, and tips to successfully complete a marathon.  It worked.  After finishing my first marathon, I was hooked.

I have been running marathons (and 5ks, 10ks and half marathons) ever since then.  Any excuse to lace ‘em up, and I am there! Races have ranged from road races to trail runs; some starting early in the morning, others at midnight; some in blazing heat, others in snow and mud;  some with 35,000 other runners, others with only a few hundred.  Through running, I have met some amazing people and made friends for life.  It has allowed me to travel across the US and to International destinations. I have run marathons in eleven states, so “only” have 39 states left to do!  I am also continuing to learn about the benefits of cross training and enjoy practicing yoga, spinning, and swimming.

When not running. I can usually be found chasing one – or more – other passions including art and design, remodeling my house build in 1923, maintaining a children’s garden that I created in a local park and volunteering in the community.
